Learning to use a computer is nothing more than making a
series of correct choices and learning the lingo. With my method of
teaching, it can be done in a few hours with zero chance of making a mistake!
Now that's peace of mind wouldn't you say?
If my calculations are correct,
you basically have six options concerning how you'd like to learn to use a
computer effectively. Perhaps one will make more sense to you then the others.
-
With my method, from day one
you'll start understanding what to do, how to do it and why, with
click-by-click instructions and illustrations to follow as you learn the
lingo, how things work, and what you have to do to make them work, even if
all you want to do is email!
Additionally, should you
forget how to do something later on, when you need to use it, no
problem...look it up! You'll have already been introduced to whatever "it"
is, hands-on, in one of your 6 lessons for Windows Vista or 7 lessons for
Windows XP. That's right, just 6 or 7 short, hands-on, lessons, in large
print and plain English and you're on your way to really understanding all
this computer stuff. For just $19.95 with a money back
guarantee.
-
Or you could choose to get a
300 page reference book like the Dummies books and hope you know the lingo
well enough to look things up and actually do what needs to be done without
click-by-click instructions. Retail prices range
from $19.95 -$34.95 for something that will be of little value to you until
you've learned the lingo.
-
You could get a CD that
expects you to know how to use the technology you're trying to learn in
order to use it. Retail price: Watch out for the fine
print on these folks! Subscriptions can cost HUNDREDS of dollars!
-
You could take a class. But
you'd better be able to take notes very quickly and remember
everything you learned when you get home. Your own computer will looks
nothing like the schools' computer. Tuitions
range from $25.00 - to over a hundred dollars not to mention the
inconvenience of having to attend class. And the free
ones are usually worth about what you pay for them.
-
You
could choose to pay $25.00, $50.00 or more per hour for private
tutoring sessions and still have nothing to fall back on if you should
forget what you learned.
-
Or your final option, you
could choose to keep trying days, weeks or years of trial and error...and
error and error but that's pretty frustrating and you're not likely to
stumble over the SIMPLER & HIDDEN ways of doing things that I can teach you
by next week! Cost? Your sanity!
Think about
this too before making a decision. Have you ever heard the phrase if you
don't use it you'll lose it?
Some of the processes you need to
learn won't be used every day, like sending or receiving email attachments or
getting pictures from a scanner or digital camera. So doesn't it make sense to
have something at your fingertips to refresh your memory on how something is
done, click-by-click, until you've had enough practice to commit it to memory
for just $19.95!
Okay potential success
stories, here is where I ask you to put on your thinking caps and consider
making a decision.
Will you give me the opportunity
to show you how easy it really CAN BE to learn how to use a computer in Baby
Steps?
Or would you like to try one of
the other methods first? I know it's unbelievable but some people do make that
choice. I hear it all the time when they do come back.
Oh, and by the way, with my
method you'll also get FREE continuing education lessons by email every month
and an email address to write me if you'd like. NOBODY else does that! NOBODY!
Just in
case, let me teach you a nifty little trick Baby Step style so it will be quick
& easy to come back. It works for all web pages. In fact, most computer tasks
are generic, that's why there is really less to learn than you might think.
Please read
through all the directions a. - e.
first so you'll know what you're going to do, then give it a try, which is how I
teach everything.
To put an
icon (little picture) also called a shortcut on your start up screen (called
your desktop) so that you can quickly and easily return to any web site any time
you're online.
a.
Place your pointing tool (called a cursor) on a page,
right here will be fine, and
RIGHT CLICK (right mouse button unless you're left handed) which will
produce a list of choices called a menu.
b.
Read down the menu until you find CREATE SHORTCUT (Take your time the computer
will wait. One of the most important lessons for you to learn is that it is FAR
more important for you to be accurate than it is to be fast.) If the menu
disappears, don't panic, just try again.
c.
Carefully and accurately, slide your cursor to CREATE SHORTCUT (When THE VERY
TIP of your cursor is in the correct place that option will change color, called
being HIGHLIGHTED.)
d.
Left Click once (or right click if you're left handed) to CHOOSE Create
Shortcut, which will cause a box to appear on your screen.
e.
Point THE VERY TIP of your cursor at the word YES on the box (called the yes
button) and again, left click once. The box will disappear and you're done. But
you won't SEE the icon by the name of SUCCESS until you can see the desktop
again.
Once you've
created a shortcut to any web page, to return to that page quickly and easily
any time your online.
Place THE
VERY TIP of your cursor ON the icon you create and DOUBLE CLICK, (or click once
on the icon so that it highlights then tap the ENTER key if you're not good at
double clicking yet. ) Then be patient and the page will appear.
No one
makes learning to use a computer quicker, or easier than I do. And with a money
back guarantee what have you got to lose?
Have a
little faith in your ability to learn when the information is presented in terms
you can understand, and allow me the opportunity to help you. I promise you
won't be disappointed.
