You are if...you don't
understand that regardless of what YOU see or hear when
using a computer, there is absolutely NOTHING on a computer
but hundreds or thousands of
FILES, and files are stored (saved) in FOLDERS.
-
You see a
picture...your computer sees a FILE
-
You see an
email...your computer sees a FILE
-
You hear a sound
...your computer plays a FILE
-
You play
solitaire...your computer OPENS A FILE called a
"program" so that you can do so
-
You watch a video on
your computer...your computer sees...you guessed it...a
FILE!
Another thing that newbies
have in common is...they are not well versed in computer
lingo. Therefore, when the computer asks them to make a
decision of some sort, they have no idea what to answer and
its a 50/50 shot of making the wrong one. That can be
dangerous and expensive! Gone are the days that it's safe to
be unaware!
There is absolutely no
need for anyone who can read and follow simple step-by-step
instructions to remain computer illiterate unless it's their
own choice. And in the case of a computer, what you don't
know CAN hurt you and will probably result in very costly
repairs at some point. Ignorance is not bliss in the world
of technology. It's foolish when there is a far better
alternative.
Even folks who have sworn
that they could not learn from a book have been
totally amazed after seeing how different my books are. I've
always had a money back guarantee and in over 20,000
sales at just $19.95 each...I've NEVER had a return. How's that for a track
record?
There is no sin
in being a "newbie" which is someone who is NEW to this
technology. The sin is that many think that remaining in the
dark is the easiest solution. However, with all the menaces
and bad things lurking out there on the net and in emails,
not understanding computer lingo, how to make choices and
what choices to make can cost you a great deal of money in
needless computer repairs. Not to mention that you'll be
completely frustrated when trying things that others think
are so simple.
Anything worth
doing is worth learning about...it's okay to be a newbie,
just make sure that you become an informed newbie so that
you don't end up wishing you had made the choice to learn
BEFORE something bad happens! I can help!
